About the symbol mark

Description of the symbol mark

Wands and snakes symbolize medicine. The wand is used by travelers to express power, and the snake expresses wisdom. V represents V of “VETERINARY”.

What is VETERINARY?

In the Roman era, sick horses were treated at VETERINARIUM, so this word is the origin of the word VETERINARY (veterinarian, veterinarian, nomenclature veterinarian), VETERINARIAN (veterinarian), VETERINARY HOSPITAL. Words such as (veterinarian), VETERINARY MEDICINE (veterinarian), VETERINARY SURGEON (veterinarian: UK, surgical veterinarian) were coined.

What is TRUE BLUE?

This word is originally used to mean “creed”, “loyalty” in political parties, or “dedication” in marriage or friendship, but in this Kyushu Zoological Academy, it is used to mean “bond”. It means “bond” that connects humans and animals.
By learning about animals, we aim to develop human resources who can deepen their understanding, deepen their relationships with humans, and form “bonds” that more strongly connect the relationships between humans and animals.
